Able to read and understand submittals for physical equipment sizing and/or layout during modeling
High School Diploma or GED
Strong BIM software experience or commercial field electrical experience

Responsibilities
As a BIM Technician, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to
Create, modify, validate, and prepare detailed 2D and 3D construction drawings to meet the project’s expectations
Creates the detailed product drawings required for manufacturing
Creates field install drawings for Operations team
Has basic understanding of how to read and navigate Blueprint drawings
Provides input to the project dashboard/tracking system
Collaborates with the Operations team and BIM support lead to insure that detailing and installation practices utilize the most efficient and effective solution
Collaborates with the Operations team and BIM support lead to review, evaluate, and maintain VDC deliverables
Makes positive project outcomes measured in both labor efficiency and quality
Manages the workflow of all tasks assigned
Provides feedback to BIM lead and Supervisor to determine areas, systems, or assemblies that can be manufactured to improve efficiency during field installations
Completes record drawings at the end of the project
Able to work on different types of construction projects including but not limited to commercial, mission critical, healthcare, industrial, and high rise
Understands who their “customer” is, as it relates to project support
Provides accurate timeline of efforts regarding all work packs to BIM project lead and/or Supervisor
Able to identify and communicate potential installation clashes with other trades
