Experienced Event Manager | 3|Month Contract

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Manager for a 3-month assignment starting in September 2026! If you are an experienced professional with a passion for event management, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
• Client Liaison: Warmly greet and welcome internal clients prior to each event.
• On-Site Support: Act as the go-to person for event organizers, addressing any day-of issues that may arise (e.g., room temperature, catering needs, custodial assistance). Liaise with appropriate departments to resolve any problems and ensure smooth event closure.
• Event Coordination: Review the Run of Event (ROE) with the Associate Director at the start of each shift. Follow guidance from the Senior Manager of Events and Operations for specific events, and the Events and Operations Coordinator for others.
• Documentation: Prepare a Close of Event (COE) report at the end of each shift, detailing any service calls, space or service issues, and email it to the Associate Director.

Qualifications
• Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant event management experience, preferably in a professional setting beyond high school.
• Education: Additional education beyond high school may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in managing a stage or venue, as well as handling audio for various programs.
