Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Developer and Offshore Team Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: United States, Remote, M-F, Eastern Time

Compensation: $105,000 to $115,000 Annually + Benefits
The client is a Florida-based fishing company with the largest online saltwater fishing club in America. They specialize in serving their 50,000+ “Insider” members through fishing education, e-commerce tackle sales, and a family-like community of anglers from all kinds of different skill levels.
They are seeking a highly skilled, jack-of-all-trades/Swiss army knife of developers to join their amazing, fast-growing team: an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer who excels in managing offshore development teams and driving complex projects to successful completion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web development technologies, experience with various databases and GIS systems, and a strong background in AI. You will be responsible for leading and managing developers, overseeing projects, and ensuring seamless integration of all components.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Management and Coordination
• Lead and manage an offshore development team.
• Allocate resources effectively to optimize team productivity and project efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure clear communication and project success.
• Project Management
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
• Utilize Jira for project tracking and BitBucket for version control.
• Manage the app deployment process, ensuring smooth and efficient launches.
• Development and Integration
• Develop and maintain web applications using WordPress, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and NodeJS.
• Integrate CRM systems such as Infusionsoft/Keap and other API integrations.
• Work with frontend frameworks including Preact, Vite React, Flowbite React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Utilize AWS services for scalable and reliable application hosting.
• Develop and integrate e-commerce platforms using Shopify and SamCart.
• Implement payment processing solutions using Stripe API.
• AI and Advanced Technologies
• Implement AI solutions to enhance application capabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest AI trends and integrate relevant technologies.
• Analytical and Troubleshooting
• Apply strong analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Provide excellent troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance.
• UX/UI Design Collaboration
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement design principles and enhance user experience.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Requirements
• Proven experience in managing offshore developer teams and coordinating cross-functional projects.
• Extensive experience with WordPress, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and NodeJS.
• Proficiency in Infusionsoft/Keap CRM integrations and other API integrations.
• Strong skills in Preact, Vite React, Flowbite React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with AWS services for application deployment and management.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and their application in web development.
• Experience with GIS systems/methodologies.
• Proficient in using Jira for project management and BitBucket for version control.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience in working with UX/UI design principles.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms Shopify and SamCart.
• Proficiency with Stripe API for payment processing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification (or relative experience) in project management (e.g., PMP) or relevant technical certifications.
• Experience in optimizing team productivity and project efficiency through effective resource allocation.
