We are seeking a passionate and skilled Android Developer to join our growing mobile development team.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining innovative and user-friendly Android applications.
You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the Android platform and development tools to build high-performance, scalable, and engaging applications that contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement features for Android applications using the latest Android SDK and APIs.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery life for a smooth user experience.
• Develop robust, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
• Integrate with various APIs (e., network services, third-party libraries) to extend app functionality.
• Design and implement user interfaces (UI) that are intuitive, user-friendly, and adhere to Android design guidelines.
• Implement unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and application stability.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues to identify and resolve bugs efficiently.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate ideas into high-quality mobile applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Android development tools, libraries, and design trends.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality within the team.
• Assist with DevOps tasks for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of applications (a plus).
Technical Skills (Required)
Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's
• 4-6 years of experience in developing Android applications with strong knowledge of the Android SDK and APIs.
• Proficiency in Android Developer/Kotlin programming languages and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with Android UI development using XML layouts and various UI components (Views, Widgets).
• Understanding of Android architecture components (Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers).
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming concepts and threading models in Android.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e., JUnit, Espresso) for writing unit and UI tests.
• Experience with version control systems (e., Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
