APPAREL/CLOTHING DESIGNER

LIVERPOOL BASED

£36-40k + Benefits

Well established successful brand based in Liverpool is looking for a Clothing Designer to join their inhouse Design team. Working on-site full-time.

Essential skills are CAD, along with Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop and Illustrator. You must have a robust understanding of garment construction, as well as the print & manufacturing process & limitations.

You must be a good all-rounder producing apparel design, silhouettes, PJ's, nightwear, socks, underwear, t-shirts and athleisure for men, women, babies and kids. You will also be producing the graphics that go onto the garments for their own-brands and some licensed brands.

Working within the design team you'll be collaborating with people in different departments, such as the Buyers, Category Managers, Design Studio Manager and suppliers in factories overseas. You'll be sending technical spec's through to suppliers and briefing in new projects to them.

Working alongside the Clothing Buying team, you'll be creating designs, technical packs, mood boards and packaging from up-to-date market trends.
