Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plaintiff's Litigation Attorney (or former civil litigation defense attorney) to join our legal team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong research and litigation skills to make a significant impact in the field of law.

Duties:

- Research and obtain expert witnesses
- Conduct legal research using resources such as FastCase, Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court during hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Prepare and present evidence to support client's case
- Advise clients on legal matters and provide guidance throughout the litigation process
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies

Requirements:

-Microsoft Office 1 year preferred
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Georgia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Litigation Attorney
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficient in legal administrative tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to draft legal documents effectively
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and litigate cases successfully

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with legal drafting and writing
- Familiarity with FastCase, Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw research platforms
