Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Travel Operating Room (OR) Nurse to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Travel OR Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of patients in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients before surgery and develop individualized care plans
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, controlling bleeding, and providing necessary supplies
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-operative care
• Educate patients and their families about the surgical process and recovery
• Maintain a clean and sterile surgical environment
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

Qualifications:
• Valid RN license in the state of Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Experience with electronic medical records systems
