Position Overview: HP is seeking an experienced and strategic Corporate Attorney to join our legal team. As a Corporate Attorney, you will play a key role in providing legal counsel on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and corporate governance. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with an MBA and a strong background in corporate law.

Key Responsibilities:
• Corporate Governance: Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and committee procedures, compliance with corporate laws, and best practices in corporate governance.
• Mergers & Acquisitions: Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Assist in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing transaction documents and agreements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage legal and regulatory risks.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to corporate operations. Manage contract lifecycle and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Legal Advisory: Offer legal guidance on various business issues, including intellectual property, employment law, and commercial transactions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal concerns and provide actionable solutions.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Provide recommendations to senior management on legal and compliance matters.
• Litigation Support: Assist in managing and resolving legal disputes and litigation. Coordinate with external counsel and oversee the resolution of legal issues.

Qualifications:
• Education: MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business or law. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and relevant legal certification are preferred.
• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of corporate legal principles, laws, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
