Our law firm is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Trust & Estates Litigation Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel to clients on matters related to trusts and estates, including disputes and litigation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned attorney to bring their expertise to a dynamic and respected legal team.
Responsibilities
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation involving trusts and estates.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, probate of wills, and administration of estates.
• Provide legal advice on issues related to estate planning, trust administration, and probate litigation.
• Conduct thorough case analysis to identify legal issues and devise effective legal strategies.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in disputes related to trusts, estates, and probate matters.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all client and firm interactions.
• Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations related to trusts and estates.
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure a seamless client experience and the best possible outcomes.
Qualifications
• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate litigation.
• Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
• Proven track record of successfully litigating trust and estate cases.
• Strong knowledge of trust and estate law, probate procedures, and tax implications.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve complex disputes.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret and apply legal principles.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
