Responsibilities
As a Permanent Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for
• Managing all aspects of litigation proceedings from the investigation, pleadings, and discovery to the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
• Representing clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
• Communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel and other external parties to achieve the best outcome for the client.
• Drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
• Conducting thorough legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles.
• Providing legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, ensuring they understand the legal complexities of their situation.
• Collaborating with a team of attorneys on case preparation and strategy development.
• Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the practice and clients.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have
• A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a strong focus on insurance litigation, employment litigation, and business.
• Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases from start to finish.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
