Qualifications
Five years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Must possess accounting technical knowledge including consolidations, inter-company eliminations, foreign currency, and concepts in an international, multi-distribution channel business model
Experience with management and financial statement reporting
Public accounting experience is required at either a Big 4 or large regional firm
Prior supervisory/management experience is required as this role will have 2 direct reports
Active CPA license is required
Responsibilities
The Accounting Manager will Manage, coordinate, and oversee the consolidation of financial results from international operations, and will also manage the domestic and international financial reporting function, including intercompany accounting
This hands on Accounting Manager will also analyze the financial data and identify key trends in the business
The Accounting Manager will also liaise extensively with U.S. and international finance, tax, treasury, and international operations management
Manages the international financial reporting function and personnel, with primary responsibility for review and consolidation of monthly financial results from international operations and U.S. subsidiaries, including review of any journal entries and reconciliations on a monthly basis
Establishes and owns the international financial statement close process controls over variance analyses and related documentation
Manages the intercompany accounting function, including the close process, and the review of wire requests
Assists with budgeting and billing of intercompany allocations
Performs financial statement variance analysis for international entities
Analyzes foreign exchange fluctuations
Prepares and reviews balance sheet reconciliations and supporting financial schedules utilizing BlackLine
Assists with projects and technical accounting research as needed
Serves as contact for external auditors, on audit related matters for U.S. and international operations
