£40,000 (some flex)

This is a newly created Management Accountant role working in a close-knit friendly team. The position will give you the chance to make a real difference in the day-to-day operations of the finance team. The company is in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside offering a stunning view and the chance to work in a picturesque setting.

Some of the key duties in the role involve:
• Production of monthly management accounts
• P&L analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Preparing and processing in-house payroll (c.50 people)
• Overseeing/mentoring AP clerk
• Ad-hoc duties as needed.

We are looking for an AAT level 4 qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA candidate with earlier background in management accounts preparation and payroll exposure (highly desirable). You will be an effective communicator and will have the ability to work well within a team. Comfortable Excel and systems skills are also a must.
