Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role looking for an experienced Java and Python Software Engineer with a flair for creativity. This role will involve the development of usable software application concepts in the area of Communications and Optics. All development shall be home-based, with on-site brainstorming and planning sessions conducted in the greater Bristol area. Python experience should focus on Linux development, preferably for battery power devices and Java in the form of Android Kotlin development.

Qualifications
• Computer Science and Software Development skills
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience in Python for Linux (Ubuntu)
• Experience in Kotlin for Android
• Understanding of GUI design
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
