Your new role



Currently supporting the Finance Manager, this role handles the A-Z of finance including AP and AR.



Daily bank reconciliations
Accounts receivable and payable
Management of insurances, registrations and leases
Monthly payroll, credit card claims and creditor payments
Month-end adjustments and reconciliations
Drafting BAS, super, payroll tax and other statutory returns
Liaising with external accountants to facilitate income tax, FBT and other returns as required
Internal reporting to sales team and management
Overseeing operation of ERP (NetSuite) and various integrated systems to ensure integrity of records, optimal efficiency and desired reporting outcomes
Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and participate in ad hoc projects as required


What you'll need to succeed



Relevant accounting qualifications. CA/ CPA is preferred but not essential.
Experience, preferably in the FMCG industry or small practice accounting
NetSuite experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Curiosity, ingenuity and attention to detail
