Accounts Payable Supervisor

Accounts Payable Supervisor required for a +-month contract starting immediately

Your New Company

My client works within the financial services industry, and they are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join the team on a +-month contract. The company is currently going through a new system implementation and needs someone to join the team who can help with the day to day managing and mentoring of the Accounts Payable team. This company is based in the CBD and offers WFH flexibility.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for

Mentoring and assigning tasks to a team of 3 AP Officers
Weekly payment runs
Manage the AP inbox
Resolve supplier account discrepancies by investigating documentation, liaising with suppliers, issuing stop payments, or adjustments
Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with month end close - Accounts Payable
Handling queries from team members

What You'll Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have

End to end AP Experience
At least 1 year's experience managing a team
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Strong problem solving and query resolution skills.

What You'll Get In Return

This office is located in the CBD and would also be the perfect opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer who is eager to step into a management role.
