Sr Java Engineer with Azure

Your role

You'll be joining a growing WMPC franchise, specifically

working in the Transferring And Settlement team. You will be working with a team that blazes a trail for technology modernization in banking.

We are looking for a talented engineer to act as a technical expert for our fledgling team in Pune, India. Your team

You will work in a highly collaborative environment with colleagues from globally diverse backgrounds and skillsets coming together to solve challenging problems as a team. The position is within our Trade and Transfer Assets stream closely collaborating with the part of Agile delivery units distributed across the globe. Our teams design, deliver and operate state-of-the-art financial systems that offer best-in-class services to the bank's clients.

Our development pods work across a multitude of development languages working together in a model of coexistence whilst we transform, modernize and evolve our post-trade service platform.

Your expertise
• should have atleast 8+years of overall experience
• candidate should have sound knowledge about JAVA, and passionate to develop the state of art technology solutions for our digital platforms
• need to understand the business needs and based on your creative thinking-ways, you will develop and design solutions in Java and you will implement them according to the DevOps practices
• work with cutting edge technologies and really motivated to work with large amounts of complex cloud-based data.

To apply for this job as a Developer you should bring:
• significant experience in designing and developing applications using various java frameworks.
• strong knowledge and experience of working with Azure to utilize azure services for cloud-based development, deployment and maintenance of applications.
• should have good understanding of working with large amounts of data
• knowledge of technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• devops skills are also an advantage
• good hands of experience working on DB MS-SQL and good to have knowledge about PostGresSQL.
• Microsoft Azure expertise and certification is a plus
