Senior Software Developer (Python)

London (Ideally Twice Per Week, Open to Twice Per Month)

The Company

I'm currently working with an industry-leading Start-Up in the construction-tech space that are looking for a senior backend engineer. This role will involve helping to scale their platform, build API's and work on pipelines. They have a wide variety of data sources and sets and are doing some cutting-edge work in the machine learning space. They are looking for a developer who has a passion for innovation and collaborative work to join their team, if this sounds interesting then this could be the role for you!

The Role

As a Senior Engineer in this team, you will be responsible for:
• Taking responsibility and managing your own projects
• Communicating with internal stakeholders through the whole product life cycle
• Working on data processing pipelines and building API's
• Practice software best practices across all areas of your work

Skills

Essential:
• Python
• Flask / FastAPI / Django
• Cloud computing - ideally AWS
• CI/CD
• Docker

Nice to have:
• DevOps / Platform Experience
• Experience in a Start-Up

Interview Process

Stage 1- 30 minute technical with the Hiring Manager

Stage 2- Culture / behaviours chat with a senior manager

Stage 3- Meet and greet with the developers and some of the team
