Remote Senior Back|End Developer | Turing

A US-based live learning platform that links students and professionals with tailor-made education to help them achieve any objective, is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of integrating front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities. Students can choose from various learning alternatives taught by famous professors, professionals, and speakers. They have managed to raise $100mn+ during their Series C round of funding. This position requires a 4+ hours overlap with the PST/EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:
• Experiment, architect, design, and build APIs, data storage solutions, services, and other engineering projects
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to deliver high-quality products
• Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with hardware, manufacturing, and other software teams to define specifications, features, and APIs
• Participate in design and code reviews, as well as mentor other members of the team
• Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade applications

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
• Prolific expertise with Golang and React
• Demonstrate great architecture skills
• Sound knowledge of Ruby on Rails is preferred
• Proficient fluency in English communication
• Excellent problem-solving and management skills
