Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded C Developer with a strong background in Embedded C and C++ programming to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience in developing and maintaining embedded systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality software for various embedded applications.
Key Responsibilities :
Embedded Software Development : Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C and C++ for various microcontroller and processor-based platforms.
Requirement Analysis : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze software requirements, and translate them into efficient and scalable code.
Code Optimization : Optimize code for performance, memory usage, and power consumption, ensuring the software meets the desired specifications and performance metrics.
Testing and Debugging : Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the software functions as intended in the target environment.
Hardware Integration : Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components, including peripherals, sensors, and communication modules.
Documentation : Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, code, and testing procedures.
Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in embedded software, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve existing and new projects.
Technical Support : Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and other team members, contributing to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Qualifications :
Educational Background : B.Tech (CSE) / M.Tech (CSE) from a reputed institution.
Experience :
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Embedded C and C++ development.
- Proven track record of working on embedded systems projects, with hands-on experience in developing software for microcontrollers and processors.
Technical Skills :
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with various microcontrollers (e.g ARM, PIC, AVR) and processor architectures.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet).
- Experience with debugging tools (e.g , JTAG, GDB) and testing frameworks.
- Understanding of hardware-software interfacing and system design principles.
Soft Skills :
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
