Remote SQL Developer|Data Analyst | Turing

A US-based company enabling consumer product brands to make better data-driven decisions is looking for a Data Analyst/SQL Developer. The developer will play a key role in helping the existing team develop the algorithms used to transform data from external SaaS platforms to a standard data model for the company’s product. The company works with some of the fastest scaling e-commerce brands to help them grow quicker by centralizing, analyzing, and pushing their data. The company has secured more than $20mn during its Series A round of funding. The selected candidate will work as a self-starter, adept at problem-solving and root-cause analysis to tackle complex issues at scale.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop SQL codes to perform ETL/ELT functions
• Work on research and analysis of requests from customers
• Curate data with SQL/Python using new data sources on Daasity Platform for evaluating distributions and data integrity
• Design and build data models best suited for analytics, reporting, and statistical analyses
• Take responsibility for developing LookML and Visualizations in Looker
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to understand requirements for product development

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience as a business intelligence and/or SQL developer
• Thorough knowledge of SQL/Python (Redshift or Snowflake preferred)
• Strong familiarity with BI tools like Looker
• Ability to prioritize projects and multitask whenever required
• Well versed with Shopify, NetSuite, or experience in D2C business would be beneficial
