If so, you are the right person for this role. We are seeking Senior Quality Assurance Engineer . We are looking for someone who can:
Enable & drive a culture of automation-first"
Perform hands-on automated & manual testing of new functionality & regression testing of existing functionality on UI, APIs, and Back-end side
Perform hands on QA activities like functional requirements review, test design and execution and test environment management
Sound knowledge of Defect Analysis and Lifecycle, Prioritization, Regression Testing, SDLC
Experience with test data identification & creation. Requirement Traceability Matrix (mapping stories to test cases)
Estimate, write, maintain, and execute both automated and manual tests, evaluate defects using Gitlab / Confluence
A testing and quality evangelist driving the shift-left testing journey in collaborating with Developers and DevOps Engineers. Helping everyone achieve the best product and SDLC process possible to increasing product quality and ease of contribution and change
Drive test environment on demand strategy using technology like cloud and containers
Automate Business acceptance criteria through Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using specification by example
Keeping current in Test Engineering/DevSecOps trends and then engineering solutions to introduce relevant advances into the project test process
Test Management know-how and ability to work with both BA's and Developers

You will work in a highly collaborative environment with colleagues from globally diverse backgrounds and skillsets coming together to solve challenging problems as a team. You'll be based in Pune (India) collaborating with the Transaction Monitoring team based in Zürich (Switzerland), part of the global AML Transaction Monitoring program organization. Our role is to design and implement innovative IT solutions to help prevent, detect and report on financial crimes and terrorist financing activities.
Your expertise
Strong experience (3+ years) in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Gherkin Syntax/Cucumber etc.)
Good knowledge of Java 8 or above
Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS databases
Comfortable in a Linux based server environment incl. bash (shell) scripting
Familiar with DevOps tools, such as Git, Jenkins/TeamCity/Gitlab Pipelines, Nexus, Ansible, RPM packaging or similar tools
Good understanding of test automation concepts and patterns
Good understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
Ability to work independently and communicate at all levels, with both business and IT staff
A flexible, resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward
Able to multitask and work on different projects in parallel, accurate and focused on deliverables
Fluent in English
Added advantage would be:
An understanding of non-functional testing such as failover, resilience, load testing
Spring Framework experience
API Automation testing, including unit test automation (JUnit), mocks etc.
Familiar with Cloud platforms like MS Azure
Financial sector experience
