Accountant Tally Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Accountant with expertise in Tally software to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Proficiency in Tally is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Record-Keeping:
• Maintain and update financial records using Tally ERP software.
• Record daily transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Accounts Management:
• Prepare and process invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
• Financial Reporting:
• Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements using Tally.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Compliance and Regulation:
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial policies.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
• System Management:
• Utilize Tally ERP software effectively for accounting functions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tally software.
• Provide support for system upgrades and improvements.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate financial information and insights to management and other stakeholders.
• Assist in training staff on Tally and accounting best practices as needed.

Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (A Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.)
• Experience:
• Proven experience as an Accountant, with a strong background in using Tally ERP software.
• Familiarity with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Tally ERP software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with other accounting software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
