Our client is an investment management firm with over $15 billion in AUM. They are looking to hire a Developer to join their team in NYC and own all their Front-End development for their internal web applications and systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end and some back-end development technologies with a passion for building high-performance web applications with data grids, visualizations, and charts. Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, and Redux
• Work with a team of developers to design and implement new features and functionality
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with the team to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code is of high quality and adheres to coding standards

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2 – 10 years of experience in full stack web development
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, and Redux
• Experience with data grids and visualization libraries
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pluses
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with high-performance web development techniques
• Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Highcharts
• Experience working in Financial Services
