Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take on a senior role? Alexandria Industries is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team and help us maintain financial accuracy and integrity across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safety First: Promote and support a safety-oriented culture by adhering to all safety programs and guidelines. Ensuring a safe work environment is always our top priority.

- Financial Management: Prepare and analyze financial statements for all facility locations. Oversee the month-end close process, including coordination with payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

- Account Reconciliation: Conduct thorough account analysis and reconciliation for all balance sheet accounts. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of accounting information.

- Monthly and Annual Reporting: Prepare monthly key financial measures, maintain account reconciliations, and create journal entries. Prepare banking requirement reports and assist with annual audit preparations.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate actively in the annual fiscal budget process and assist with inventory valuations and work in process.

- General Ledger Oversight: Maintain and monitor general ledger activity and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Handle governmental surveys and manage fixed asset software.

Additional Duties:

- Assist with various special projects and assignments as needed, performing all tasks in a professional and cooperative manner.

Qualifications:

- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.

- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, exceptional data entry skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Attributes: Self-directed, organized, and motivated with the capability to exercise independent judgment. Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information and communicate effectively with vendors and employees.

Pay: $78,566.00 - $82,304.00 per year
