Accountant

Job description
Job Purpose:

The Accountant is responsible for auditing and processing invoices that are sent to our accounts payable department.

Primary Responsibilities
• Auditing invoices for accuracy.
• Work with other financial staff team members on other projects as needed.
• Work with project manager and projects teams to resolve any invoice questions.
• Perform monthly financial reconciliations as needed.

Location:

This is an on-site position: Monday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays preferred.

This position is between 20 – 24 hours/week.

Requirements:
• Must be a citizen of the United States.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain government security clearance.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-1+ unless legally exempt.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1-3 years working in the field.
• Experience with accounts payable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills and familiarity with accounting software would be preferred.
• Experience with Uniform Grant Guidance CFR Part 200 is helpful but not required.
