Our firm specializes in personal & small business accounting. Located on the Ohio/Michigan state line, we help hundreds of middle class families on an annual basis. As the firm continues to grow, additional staff is required to help manage clients.

The right candidate will have between 5 and 8 years of CPA firm experience working with private businesses and high net worth clients. Extensive tax planning, accounting, retirement planning and general business law knowledge a must. The candidate should also be an expert with Quickbooks online/desktop.

As a small firm, we aim to maintain a low accountant to client ratio. Our goal is to provide a stelar work/life balance while providing exceptional service to our clientele. The right candidate will immediately take the lead on various clients and will be responsible for client work flow, meetings, income tax returns, and general small business accounting tasks.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid position with on-site requirements during tax season for a Senior Accountant at Bridge Way Financial Consulting & Tax Services located in Lambertville, MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax filings and small business accounting. A new hire will oversee current client relationships while experiencing a great work/life balance.

- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation

- Manage cash flow and cash management processes

- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

- Assist in all areas of Quick Books
• Reconciliation, Projections, Financial Statements

- Clear communication with clientele

- Prepare annual tax filings for personal and business returns

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various financial projects

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

- CPA or EA certification preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting/tax

- Strong Communication Skills

- Proficiency in accounting software, including Quickbooks & Drake Tax Software
