Introduction:

Cummings St. Thomas is partnering with a fiscally stable organization in Johnson County, KS in their search for a Senior Accountant position! This is a newly created role offering excellent work/life balance and a Hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting with periodic financial closings including guiding and mentoring other team members.
• Ensuring accounting transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP.
• Working with external auditors to draft annual financial statements and associated footnote disclosures.
• Budgeting/forecasting including analyzing expense variances.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; other Business-related disciplines may be considered.
• At least 3-years of related experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

The anticipated Base Salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $+0,000 DOE. This position also includes Bonus potential and Benefits.
