Overview Of The Cost Accountant Role
• Create cost standards for materials and labor
• Create cost estimates for new and proposed products
• Complete margin analysis and analysis of standard vs actual costs
• Perform cost analysis of manufacturing operations, equipment availability, and utilization
• Perform monthly reconciliations for cost and inventory
• Review cycle counts and complete variance analysis
• Oversee annual physical inventory

Preferred Qualifications For The Cost Accountant
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum three years of cost accounting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with an ERP system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving skills, willing to offer innovative ideas and solutions

The Cost Accountant role is fully onsite in Plymouth, Indiana.

Salary: $64,480.00 - $76,+60.00
