Overview:
Brigham Young University-Idaho is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Full-time Faculty position in Accounting. As a private, baccalaureate institution, the university is teaching-focused and student-centered by design. This position requires a demonstrated commitment to and potential for excellence in teaching, as well as a strong background in accounting. Responsibilities:
• Teach introductory financial and managerial accounting concepts, as well as intermediate financial accounting, advanced financial accounting, accounting information systems, and/or accounting and audit data analytics
• Advise students and other department and university assignments
• Participate in ongoing scholarly development within the discipline
• Actively pursue professional development opportunities in learning and teaching
• Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (master's or doctorate) in Accounting
• Applicable professional certification, such as CPA or CMA
• Significant relevant experience
• Demonstrated commitment to and potential for excellence in teaching
