Job Details

Responsibilities
• Preparing and consolidating financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Managing all aspects of the general ledger.
• Providing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports.
• Assisting with tax audits and tax returns.
• Directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles.
• Assisting in the implementation of new finance systems.
• Liaising with our Accounting manager and Operations director to improve financial procedures.

Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant in the Healthcare industry.
• Strong experience with GAAP, Sage Intact, and finance system implementations.
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
• An ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
