Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Stamford, CT

This investment management firm is looking for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the firm's management company, general partner entities, and investment accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant
• Maintain books/records including cash management, closes, and capital allocations
• Monitor deal flow and prepare capital calls/distributions
• Utilize internal capital allocation software and prepare portfolio reporting
• Understand complex entity structures and provide reporting for tax compliance
• Prepare external tax/regulatory filings and reports
• Manage fixed asset accounting and reconciliations
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements

What we are looking for in a Senior Accountant:
• Minimum of four years of relevant accounting experience in private companies or public accounting
• Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
• Advanced Excel skills for data management and reporting
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and deadline-driven
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
• Keen attention to detail and process orientation
• Experience with accounting systems/ERP
