Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant $65K-$70K plus bonus (Hybrid in Lewisville)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant for a client in the services sector, located in Lewisville, TX. This role involves managing full-cycle close processes, preparing financial statements, and providing analytical support to the field operations team.

The requirements for this position include bachelor’s in accounting, and currently pursuing the CPA highly preferred. Some experience within industry accounting is beneficial.

Responsibilities:
• Perform bank reconciliations across multiple locations
• Support month-end close activities
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Develop schedules to facilitate annual audits
• Generate routine and ad-hoc reports utilizing POS systems
• Review financial data for accuracy and compliance
• Provide exceptional customer service to field operations staff
• Undertake additional tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA exam eligibility or partial completion
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
