We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Littleton, Colorado. In this role, you will be part of a team that provides accounting consulting for clients, supports clients that aren’t accountants and oversees the accounting system and payroll correction. This is a customer-focused role where you will be interacting directly with clients.Responsibilities:• Provide accounting consulting services to clients, assisting them in understanding and utilizing their financial data.• Support clients who are not accountants, ensuring they are able to effectively use and understand their financial systems.• Oversee the accounting system, ensuring its accuracy and efficiency.• Correct payroll discrepancies and errors, ensuring all payroll activities are compliant with regulations.• Utilize technology and software systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tasks.• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, conveying necessary information clearly and accurately.• Adapt to the evolving needs of clients and internal teams, demonstrating flexibility in work processes.• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address client inquiries and issues.• Manage a pipeline of projects efficiently, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as necessary.• Hold clients accountable, ensuring they comply with best practices in their financial operations.• Utilize software similar to QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.
