Property Accountant

Job description
MJR Development is looking to add a Property Accountant to our team of talented real estate professionals. We are an entrepreneurial real estate development company and are looking for Property Accountant to assist us with our commercial real estate portfolio. This position needs to think, strategize, plan and execute on the many projects we have in process and will collaboratively work with our existing team.

Job Responsibilities:

· Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

· General Accounting

· Assist in Budget Planning and Implementation

· Tenant Invoicing

· Manage Vendor invoices and bills, assist in new vendor set up and bids

· Tenant Chargebacks and Service Requests

· Assist in preparation of draw requests to lenders

· Participate in monthly review of costs using budget to actual &12-month spreads

· Process all incoming mail

· Assist in Property Management as needed

· Assist in other special projects

· General Office Responsibilities including filing, copying, scanning, order office supplies, run errands

General Qualifications

· Excellent people skills.

· Experience in financial management and accounting. Real estate experience a plus.

· Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and improve systems.

· Technologically savvy, with an ability to work with computers. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and QuickBooks.

· Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented.

· Personal qualities of integrity, motivation, credibility, and commitment.

· Positive Mental Framework

· Public Notary is a plus but not required
