Are you a Staff Accountant or public accounting Associate ready for your next challenge? Do you have your CPA, public accounting experience from Big 4/a large national firm, or experience working for a publicly traded company? If you answered yes, then this may be the role for you! LHH is seeking a strong Staff Accountant to join one of our exciting and growing publicly traded company clients. This role will report to the corporate Accounting Manager and have a focus on corporate financial accounting within the organization

Responsibilities:
• Maintain financial reports, and general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries, variance analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations for month-end close.
• Implement and document accounting procedures, ensuring compliance.
• Research and interpret financial data to answer queries.
• Support annual audits, prepare schedules, and assist auditors.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and non-compliance.
• Assist with ad hoc project and additional responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications/Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience with either Big 4, large national public accounting firm, or industry experience with a mid-to-large size company (ideally publicly traded)

Highly Preferred:
• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience with Big 4 or National CPA firm with publicly traded company clients
• CPA highly desired

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Positive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-started, ambitious, and goals-oriented
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Bellevue, WA (hybrid/fully remote potential)

• Base salary $65k-$80k DOE + up to 10% bonus
