Staff Accountant | Contract | 1x a week onsite | Legal

Job description
Our client, a global full service law firm, is seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join their busy accounting team at their San Francisco, CA headquarters.

This role is an indef contract role with an immediate start, potential for perm for right candidate.

1 day on-site - 4 days remote

Mon-Friday, Hours +am-6pm

Must okay be okay to go in to office 1x week on Thursdays and able to work on-site last fews days of the month end.

In this role you will join a team of 4 and assist with:
• Detailed Journal Entries
• Account Reconciliation
• Fixed Assets Accounting
• Tax and Real Estate Department Support
• Proof of Cash Analysis
• Audit Support
• Ad Hoc Projects, such as, Foreign exchange gain/loss allocations
• Compliance and Control work
• Financial Reporting

The ideal candidate has:
• Previous experience doing accounting at a law firm
• Experience with 3E, Sage and Enterprise systems
• Superior Excel skills and experience with Fixed Assets
• Knowledge of accounting best practices
• Excellent communication and client services skills
