Job Summary:

We are looking for a diligent and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the senior accounting staff in carrying out essential accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and contributing to the overall financial management of the company. Key Responsibilities:
• Record Transactions: Assist in recording day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in the general ledger.
• Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable: Support the processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment transactions.
• Prepare Financial Reports: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain Financial Records: Ensure all financial records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date.
• Assist with Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and track expenses to ensure they align with the approved budget.
• Support Audits: Provide documentation and support during internal and external audits.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Communicate with Team Members: Collaborate with colleagues and provide financial information as needed.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
