DevOps Elastic Search Consultant

Job Type: Contract /Freelancing

Duration : 3+ months

Job Positions : 2

Location: Chennai ( Work from Home)

Work Hours : 8 hours

Job Description

•Key Responsibilities

•Experience:

6-7 years of experience in DevOps, with significant expertise in managing Elasticsearch clusters.

•Cluster Review and Reconfiguration with ML Support:

Review existing Elasticsearch clusters and reconfigure them to support machine learning capabilities.

•Instance Type Selection:

Choose the appropriate instance types for various workloads to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency

•Security Control Implementation:

Implement robust security measures including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), and IP filtering to safeguard data.

•Performance Improvement:

Enhance the performance of read and write operations, including bulk data operations.

Conduct performance tuning for storage, documents, and indices using a Hot-Warm architecture.

•Stack Monitoring:

Set up and maintain monitoring tools to track data streaming and node performance.

•Event Log Source Integration:

Integrate multiple event log sources into the Elasticsearch cluster for comprehensive data analysis.

•Growth Planning and Forecasting:

Develop strategies for scaling the Elasticsearch infrastructure and forecast future resource requirements.

•Automation:

Automate cluster deployment, snapshot management, and data restoration processes using scripting and automation tools.

•Fleet Server & Elastic Agent Deployment:

Deploy and manage Fleet Server and Elastic Agents for centralized management of endpoints.

•Visualization and Reporting:

Create visualizations and generate reports to provide insights into data and system performance.

•Version Upgrade:

Plan and execute the upgrade to Elasticsearch version 8.8, ensuring minimal disruption and compatibility with existing systems

•Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Must -Have- Skills

Elastic Search, Kubernetes (K8s) AWS

Academic

Post Graduate /Graduate in Engineering /Technology
