Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage our accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is crucial in ensuring our financial operations are smooth and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accounts Payable: Process invoices, track payments, accurately enter and update payable data, and manage vendor relationships.
• Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices, track and maintain accurate receivables records, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Aging/Collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging and perform collection activities.
• Business Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Cash Management: Oversee cash flow, banking, and reconciliation activities.
• Financials: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Month-End Close: Perform month-end closing procedures and ensure accuracy.
• Payroll Tax Filings: Manage payroll tax filings and compliance.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit quarterly and year-end financial reports.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage would be a plus!)
• Strong technical skills (especially Excel)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
