Senior Tax Accountant

Job description
Senior Tax Accountant who will be responsible for quarterly tax account reconciliations, estimates, and support tax filing processes. The senior tax accountant should exemplify strong organizational skills, effective collaboration and communication skills.
• Support the tax team’s goals and objectives by assisting Tax Manager and Sr. Tax Manager with special projects and ad hoc assignments; and by coordinating between various internal & external parties and service providers
• Perform tax research and provide assistance to various stakeholders internally and externally Provide support in preparation of schedules/responses related to income tax audits, inquiries, and tax notices
• Identify and communicate relevant tax legislative developments
• Implement and uphold tax accounting policies and processes

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/Tax required
• Master’s degree in Tax preferred
• 4+ years of relevant tax experience, with a heavy emphasis on US federal income tax compliance and income tax accounting, in both public accounting and corporate environments
• Experience preparing tax returns
• Experience preparing ASC 740 income tax provision
