Technical content writer

Responsibilities
• Plan, research, write, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documentation, including user manuals, online help systems, technical specifications, and developer guides.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand product requirements and translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation.
• Organize and prioritize documentation tasks to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of documentation projects.
• Update and maintain existing documentation to reflect product updates, enhancements, and changes.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to make continuous improvements to documentation quality and user experience.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to technical writing and
• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a technical writer with 4+ years of experience in documenting software products or technical systems.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in authoring tools such as Adobe Technical Communication Suite, MadCap Flare, or similar tools.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, and other markup languages is a plus
