Position: Network Reliability Operations (NRO) Engineer
Location: Bengaluru
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Reliability Operations (NRO) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The NRO Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring thereliability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in large-scale IP networking technologies, routing and switching protocols, and cloud service provider (CSP) environments.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and maintain the reliability, performance, and security of the network infrastructure.
● Monitor and respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to defined service level agreements (SLAs).
● Optimize network performance in highly available, large-scale, multi-site, and international environments.
● Develop and implement automation and tooling for efficient provisioning, monitoring, and management of network infrastructure.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
● Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and best practices.
Qualification:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in network operations or a related field.
● In-depth knowledge of large-scale IP networking technologies and protocols, including MP- BGP, VRF, VxLAN, EVPN, IPSEC, and DNS,MPLS
● Proficiency in switching and routing protocols.
● Experience with one or more CSP environments, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
● Familiarity with networking equipment from Arista, Fortinet, and Juniper.
● Strong track record of alert response and resolution within defined SLAs.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Ability to multitask in an interrupt-driven environment.
● Hands-on experience with developing and implementing automation for network infrastructure management
