Design and Development

Assisting in Design: Support senior designers in creating new designs by sketching, creating mood boards, and gathering inspiration.

Technical Drawings: Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for garments.

Sample Development: Assist in the development of samples by coordinating with pattern makers and sample makers.

Research and Trend Analysis

Trend Research: Conduct research on current fashion trends, market needs, and consumer preferences.

Fabric and Material Research: Source and research fabrics, trims, and other materials needed for design projects.

Collaboration and Communication

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other interns, designers, and departments such as marketing, production, and merchandising

Production Support

Quality Control: Assist in quality control checks for samples and finished products.

Production Coordination: Help coordinate production schedules and timelines to ensure timely delivery of samples and collections.

Presentation and Styling

Presentation Preparation: Assist in preparing for design presentations and runway shows, including organizing looks and styling models.

Lookbooks and Portfolios: Help create lookbooks, portfolios, and other promotional materials.

Learning and Development

Skill Development: Continuously learn new skills and techniques relevant to fashion design.

Mood Boards: Develop mood boards and color palettes for upcoming collections.
