Our global teams perform a wide variety of activities from maintaining system stability to growing the features and functionality of our state-of the-art trading and asset management platform, Aladdin. Team Overview
The Aladdin Product Group, Post Trade Applications team provides technology solutions to support investment accounting, performance measurement, cash, asset reconciliation, Derivatives & Client Reporting. The team is responsible for a suite of applications including performance calculation engines, client and ad hoc reporting systems, reconciliation and data publication tools.
Job Purpose
Build Out Commercial Capabilities for Client Reporting Production on Aladdin
Specific CWK Role Responsibility
Responsibilities include:
• 50% development around the Client Reporting– which includes migration of existing reporting templates to Report Studio platform and other critical implementations around existing Client reporting platform and 50% providing support for technical, functional & Operational issues encountered for our clients.
• Understand and refine business and functional requirements
• Provide ongoing development maintenance of existing reporting functionality, working closely with the client support teams to address issues that are escalated for resolution
• Work with team members in multi-office, multi-country environment
• Deliver high level of client service through responsiveness and accuracy
Specific activities:
50% Development
• Developing and maintaining existing Client Reporting platform, including participation in tactical and strategic development projects
• Working alongside project managers, technical leads and business analysts throughout the SDLC cycle
• Code new business functionality in the system, specifically in the Client Reporting space, to meet business and customer requirements, working closely with end-users, client operations staff, and other Aladdin development teams
50% Production support
• Providing first line of support for technical, functional, or operational issues encountered
• Help the team conduct end-to-end UAT tests to ensure production operations run successfully during monthly cycles
• Provide ideas for process enhancements that will result in development projects
Experience
• Strong Experience working with any of the reporting technologies/tools (Birt (any versions)/ Crystal Reports/ D2K/ Hyperion/ SQL Server Reporting services,/Jasper reporting etc)
• Strong Experience working with any of the RDBMS tools (SQL Server/ Sybase/ Oracle, MySQL etc)
• Preferred Experience with languages like Perl, Python, Java script etc
• Preferred Experience with Java & J2EE. (Along With spring framework).
Desired Qualifications
• >3 years of years of experience in reporting technologies with good exposure to any of the RDBMS tools.
• Experience working with global project teams spread across several time zones a must.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills and time management abilities.
• 4-year degree, CS degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated thought leadership around new and cutting-edge technologies.
