Role Summary
Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
May use common development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze requirements, create design and implement them
• Review work of your peers, test, debug and enhance software.
• Work closely with System engineers, Validation and Operation teams for quality, on time delivery of agreed deliverables
• Adhere to company policies and quality standards
• Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence and report same to reporting manager
• Pay high attention to detail in all work
• Understand required protocols, work to implement and integrate them.
Job Requirements
• Excellent Programming proficiency and hands-on experience in C and C++ on Linux platform
• Must have working experience on multi-threaded applications on Linux operating system
• Experience in Object Oriented design
• Good knowledge and understanding of various data structures, algorithms, OS concepts.
• Excellent analytic, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. Ability to arrive at simple solutions to complex problems
• Preferred previous experience in one or more web technologies and related protocols like XML, SOAP, JSON, REST and HTTP
• Experience in Java and IPSEC would be an added advantage
• Must have BE/BTech, MTech ( Computer Science, EE ) or MCA Degree with consistent good academic record
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in the above areas
