Senior Software Developer | SIP |Telephony

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced telecommunications professional who can provide strategic guidance, technical thought leadership and direction for telephony-based Conversational AI projects in ways that can drive business outcomes for the customer. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment and are required to work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. You must typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. You are also responsible for day to day supervision for a small team of associates; provide coaching and input into the performance management process.

Essential Skills:
• Software Development experience in SIP development/implementation, custom SIP engineering or custom IVR development.
• Extensive experience in large scale product development in Enterprise Telephony, VoIP based products or implementation of contact center solutions.
• Exposure on telephony engines like Asterisk, FreeSwitch, Kamailio, OpenSIPS etc.
• Preferred - any prior work done on SIP Proxy, RTP Proxy, SIPREC, audio streaming etc.
• Savvy with one of IMS, SBC, VoLTE Technologies.
• Strong Programming Skills on Node.JS (preferred) / Python / C, C++ with OOA & Design concepts.
• Sound knowledge of telecom protocols like SIP/ICE/STUN/TURN/SRTP/DTLS/H323/Diameter/Radius
• Shall be thoroughly analytical and fix issues for SBC Portfolio of Products.
• Shall be thorough with Linux/RTOS internals and product Architecture is preferred.
• Strong Knowledge of TCP/UDP/IP and networking concepts is a must.
• Knowledge of IP telephony, SIP, Call Routing Techniques of ARS, AAR on Trunk config environment.
• Front end - Angular(2.x)/ ReactJS/ jQuery (good to have).
• Strong understanding of database design; Experience of NoSQL databases is a plus
• Experience in API integration, Application deployment
• Familiarity in Unix/Linux development environments & tools including scripting
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Experience in Test Driven Development & Agile methodologies
• Good communication skills. Hunger for learning .
• Experience of using tools like git is a plus. Strong multithreading concepts is a plus
• Self-starter with a drive to technically mentor your cohort of developers
