Get it done: liaise closely with our customers’ developers, write code and make successful
Backbase implementations happen.
You’ll be face to face with customers, project and product teams ensuring the implementation of
your technology is seamless.
Meet the job
Your goal is to seamlessly integrate the Backbase platform into our customers’ systems.
You’ll stay focused on a changing environment consisting of rapid iterative software
development, sharp customer feedback, requirements gathering workshops and
configuration/customization of the Backbase Engagement Banking Platform.
Bring your A game. You will be collaborating deeply with our customers and delivery teams.
During projects, you take on the expert role for anything related to backend and refine
components that will be redeployed.
Backbase speaks Agile software development, just like you. You will write beautiful and smart
code, run tests and coach a team of developers on the client and partner side. You will also
provide training to those who work with the platform. You know when to be creative and when to
consult your colleagues. Because you will be working on a global scale, you easily blend into any

If the below sounds like you, then you know what to do:
● You have a solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Platform. Certifications are definitely a plus in this space.
● You are skilled in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes for scalable and
resilient deployments
● You have deep expertise in implementing RESTful APIs and designing scalable backend
systems
● You have a strong track record of implementing distributed systems, asynchronous
messaging, and event-driven architectures
● You are familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test,
and deployment
● You have a strong approach and experience with performance optimization, caching
strategies, and load balancing techniques
● You know how production looks like and has proficient in implementing observability
practices in backend applications
● You talk Java, you love Spring, you like Microservices and you have extensive
experience with integration patterns and frameworks (Apache Camel, Spring Integration);
● You are able to communicate clearly and confidently across all levels to get buy-ins from
technical stakeholders as well as from your team members;
● Your experience in the banking domain or Fintech products will be considered an
advantage;
● You have excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written;
● You have experience with Java, Spring, Maven, Docker, CI and CD;
● You have strong experience with microservices;
● You are knowledgeable of relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL);
● You have good understanding of non-functionals such as security, performance,
scalability, etc.;
● You have a good understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns
