Position : Application support engineer

Experience 3-6 Years

Location: India Offshore

Notice Period: 20 Days

Support Developer Analyst

Mandatory

• Working knowledge of one of the programming languages – Java, .NET or Python.

• Very well versed in SQL on any of the databases – SQL server, Oracle or Postgres.

• Experience in some Geospatial technologies like ESRI ArcGIS, Mapbox, Leaflet etc is highly desired.

• Solid understanding and foundation of web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, CSS and CSS. We need some comfortable with troubleshooting in a complex web application using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, Browser debuggers etc.

• Prior experience on supporting complex enterprise Web/API applications, preferably in a Cloud environment.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills, preferably worked on Production Suppor scenarios for mission critical applications.

• Very strong in scripting like Bash, Powershell etc & Unix commands.

• A good grasp on networking concepts & deployment topologies.

• Very good in spoken & written communication skills.

• Having prior project experience managing & coordinating multiple tasks in a project & enjoys being a Jack of all trades/Generalist rather than a specialist in a particular skill.

• Experience on modern SDLC practices like Agile (Scrum) or Kanban using Jira, Azure DevOps etc..

• Adept in working with various teams & being a go getter & proactive to resolve hurdles.

• Experience in Git

• Open to learning new technologies.

Additional or Plus

• Prior experience in Containerized application development in Kubernetes environment

• Experience in API led development.

• Working knowledge of single sign on and OATH tools like AD, Okta etc.
