The platform would revolutionise the way electricity is consumed, providing transparent and efficient information related to buyers and sellers of electricity.
Job Summary:
GNA Energy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Analyst to join their team. In this role, the candidate will conduct research and analysis on market segments, regulatory developments, new business opportunities, etc. The primary focus will be to work on structured and unstructured problem statements, conduct secondary research, and provide data-driven insights to key internal and external stakeholders to optimize business strategies.
Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
● Develop a strong understanding of GNA’s products, their competition in the industry, and positioning
●Conduct research to monitor and analyse market trends, industry developments, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments within the energy industry and keep the management team updated about the same
●Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on market dynamics, client developments, competitor moves, etc.
●Collect data and track information related to the market including announcement for new capacity development, mergers and acquisitions, product development, technology, tenders, etc.
Marketing Content:
● Track industry news and publish newsletters for internal and external circulation
● Create and publish content for the Company’s social media handles on a regular basis
● Work on PowerPoint presentations based on business requirements
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree. An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred
● Proven track record in research and analysis
Additional Skills:
●Strong secondary research skills with experience of doing industry analysis, company analysis, and studying regulatory frameworks
● Experience in the power/energy sector will be an added advantage
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
● Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results, with a proactive and self-motivated approach
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
● Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, clearly and concisely
