EXPERIENCE

8 to 15 Years Post-Qualification Experience in Steel Industries, Manufacturing Unit/Plant Accounting.ERP /SAP Experience is preferable.

Salary: Upto !5 lacs

Direct-10 persons & Indirect-5 persons. Total Team members are15.

KEY RESULT AREAS

- Promoter MIS Making accounting Finance

- Establish systems controls for and procedures for financial and

accounting systems to achieve corporate objectives

- Consistent assistance to Joint Managing Director in the area of

cost and profitability

- Financial and statutory compliances

- Timely and accurate support for business lines and other

functions

- Team management

-Day to Day Accounts in ERP /SAP

-Direct and Indirect Taxes

-Working Capital Management

-Strong MIS & Statutory Compliance Control

-Debtors’ control

-Budgeting

-Cost Analysis and Pricing of Raw Material

-Revenue accounting

-Cost reduction and control

-Audit – Statutory and Internal

- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards

KEY PURPOSE OF JOB

-Managing the entire Accounting function, including day to day accounting, financial management & MIS.

-Ensure timely support to HO-Finance for releasing profitability within timelines. Meeting Company’s Business objective in Orissa.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

1. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards;

2. Timely Monthly Closing in ERP & Release MIS;

3. 100% Statutory compliances- VAT / CST / PTAX / ET / WCT/Excise/Service Tax/TDS etc, Sales Tax Assessment;

4. Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards;

5. Responsible for plant financial accounting, costing, inventory valuation, and periodic finalization of accounts (Profit & Loss account, Balance Sheet and cash flow) in a decentralized set-up;

6. Co-ordination & Completion of Statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Tax Audit of the Plant in a time-bound manner satisfactorily;

7. Supporting the “Plant Head” in areas of

a. financial management,

b. strengthening financial & internal controls,

c. cost control & reduction measures,

d. improvement in productivity & profitability

8. Review of costing & inventory valuation

+. Understand the Key Trading Strategies-which would be business structures-ensuring & building controls around businesses and getting the same captured in reporting.

10. Review of important contracts, commercial terms, taxes & levies- understanding of state taxes, in co terms, good eye to bisect the taxations structures to support the businesses

11. Provide leadership and coordination in the Financial, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company

12. Manage Legal Issues including contracts & Litigation, in addition to taxation, governance & corporate compliance.

13. Providing leadership to a team of professionals in finance

14. Proper Working Capital Management.

15. Supervision of all accounting transactions including Sales Accounting.

16. Designing & Implementation of MIS System, Cost Control System, Budgeting System for various Units of the company and be responsible for the same.

17. Analysis of all cost & assistance in sourcing of raw materials.

18. Coordination and compliance on LC arrangements from the Bank and other financers.
